July 26, 2012

07/27/12 This Saturday, shoppers can try to ‘Stump the Gardener’; if you can’t stump Bob Yoder, you can get your questions answered. A corn-eating contest and tasting is planned. Even with a drought, Tom says he’ll find corn.

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the newly-named River Park Square at Garro and River, east of Michigan. Each weekend features entertainment and exhibits. The last day for the Market is Oct. 13, the second Saturday of the month. Please help the Market turn totally ‘green’. Bring your baskets and bags to cut down on plastic and deposit plastic and cans in the recycling bin by the shed.

Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager,10499 Tyler Road,Bremen,IN46506 (574-217-5776). Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month.
