09/20/12Teachers Credit Union has sponsored Lincoln Junior High’s Achieve 3000 student incentive program for the 2nd consecutive year.

7th grade students use Achieve 3000 in their Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science classes. The program is used to increase student’s reading levels through the use of non-fiction articles and 5 instructional steps.   LJH students are rewarded in their classes with Achieve Bucks that can be redeemed for prizes and daily, weekly high point winners are also recognized throughout the year.

High point winners are automatically entered into the school’s quarterly drawings for Kindles. TCU is also sponsoring a drawing for a Kindle Fire at the Lincoln Junior High Family Literacy Night on Oct. 1st which is part of their Literacy Week, September 29th through Oct. 5th. Thanks to TCU for their continued support of literacy at Lincoln.
