The Circus is Coming to the Museum

July 11, 2012
By

07/12/12 Starting this Saturday, July 14 from 11:00 – 1:00 the model train exhibit at the Marshall County Museum will feature a circus theme, inspired by Disney’s Dumbo.   The new model train exhibit is complete with circus train cars, special engines and locomotives, dazzling light shows, and a flying elephant.

For kids who want a more “hands-on” experience, the play train set will have a big top circus tent and circus acts.

The circus theme will only be available for viewing until the end of August.

The trains are available for viewing during our regular hours, but only run Saturdays from 11:00 – 1:00. The Marshall County Museum is located at 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth. Hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4p.m.

For questions please call (574) 936-2306.

Lou Davis is putting up lights. John and Lou Davis are the ones that had the idea of transforming the train room into a circus theme. With the help of some volunteers, they are working on the room.
