02/13/12  On Wednesday, February 1st, K-9 Officer John Weir with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving without its headlights on northbound on Michigan Street at US 30.  Officer Weir walked K-9 Rex around the vehicle.  The passenger in the vehicle, Jeremy Robinson 22, of Plymouth ran from the vehicle.   Rex was released and apprehended Robinson a short time later. While Robinson was being placed into custody, he ingested a baggie of suspected methamphetamine, and was transported to St. Joe Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for evaluation.

The driver, Richard R. Winkelman 29, of Plymouth was placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Possession of Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia. Winkelman was given a $1,000.00 cash bond for his release.  He is scheduled to appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on February 28th at 8:30am.
