07/30/12 The Indiana State Police and the Plymouth F.O.P. #195 will be conducting the 10TH Annual Pack-a-Backpack at the Plymouth Wal-Mart located on US 30 on Friday, August 3rd, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm and on Saturday, August 4th, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  We will be collecting school supplies such as glue, scissors, crayons, backpacks, folders, paper, markers, erasers, pencils, and rulers, commented Indiana State Police Lieutenant James Strong.  The supplies will be given to children in need that attend the Plymouth, LaVille, Culver, Triton, Argos, and Bremen school systems.

  Beginning July 28th, the public can drop off the donated supplies at WTCA, the Plymouth Moose Lodge, the Plymouth Dollar General by Kroger, Fernbaugh’s Jewelers, Opie’s Deli, Wrench General and Wal-Mart in Plymouth.  Parents interested in receiving a backpack or other school supplies should contact their school counselor for an application.  Applications will be available to the parents during school registration.

  The Indiana State Police and the Plymouth F.O.P. #195 would like to thank Hoosier Tire, Wrench General, the United Postal Service-Plymouth, W.T.C.A., Opie’s Deli, Fernbaugh’s Jewelers, Wal-Mart, the Salvation Army, the Plymouth Moose Lodge, and Dollar General for their continued support of the Pack-a-Backpack program.
