Â 09/07/12 Â The Marshall County Church Orchestra will perform its final â€śConcert in the Parkâ€ť series to coincide with National Assisted Living Week.Â The orchestra under the direction of Don Harness will appear at Millerâ€™s Senior Living Community on September 9, at6:00 p.m.Â The concert will take place rain or shine.
The orchestra will present a variety of music including hymns, classical and pop.Â Their special guest soloist will be WTCAâ€™s own Tony Ross.Â He will join the orchestra on the meaningful hymn â€śIt Is Well With My Soulâ€ť.Â During rehearsal Thursday evening Ross stated he has always wanted to sing with a live orchestra and he â€śfeels honoredâ€ť to be doing so on September 9th.
Local entertainer and orchestra member Quentin Flagg will also perform during the orchestraâ€™s break.Â He will bring his high energy singing and dancing to popular hits of the 40â€™s through the 90â€™s.Â He will also provide the vocals as the orchestra plays â€śGod Bless Americaâ€ť.
