07/31/12 On Sunday July 29th around 3:29am Marshall County dispatch advised Plymouth Police Department of a possible impaired driver traveling southbound on Michigan Road from the Tri Way Golf Course at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located on Michigan Road near Hoham Drive at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
Plymouth Police Officer Jordan Rans initiated the traffic stop on the driver, 21year old Pablo Lopez Solis of Plymouth. Solis was arrested for reckless driving, operating the vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle endangering a person.
Passenger Jose L. Diaz-Rangel 23, of East Chicago was found to have an active warrant through Marshall County for a civil contempt and was also wanted on a warrant through Lake County.
Both men were transported to the Marshall County Jail where Solis was given a $1,500 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on August 7th at 8:30am. Rangel is being held with on a $9,000 cash bond.
