05/22/14 On Tuesday evening at approximately 8:45 P.M. the Marshall County Dispatched Center received a 9-1-1 call of a motorcycle that had driven into a fence at 14499 6th Road. As County Officer Deputy Rob Hafke arrived on the scene it was learned that the driver of the green, 2006 Kawasaki Motorcycle, 24 year old Lukas J. Moren of Walkerton was westbound on 6th Road. As Moren approached the turns west of Olive Road he attempted to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone. Mr. Moren lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a wooden fence.
Mr. Moren and his passenger, Lindsey R. Hall of Walkerton were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. Hall was last known to be in critical condition.
