Prayers go out to family and friends who lost a dear friend. Everyone has a reputation and I understand the law when a gun his pulled on law enforcement but a life taken too soon!! Now a father a brother is gone.

A tragedy to all involved for certain. excessive alcohol use never comes to anything. But this is suicide by cop pure and simple.

I agree with the last poster. The public doesn’t need to know who was the officer that fired the shot. It is probably already hard enough on the officer to be forced to do that — no need to cause more stress on him to have his name brought into the open. If there is any wrong-doing the internal investigation is going to reveal that.

I agree the public does not need to know who was involed I am sure they are hurting as bad as the families it is not a good thing either way they were doing there job

My prayers go out to the family of the gentleman that was killed after firing on police.
My prayers go out to the police officers that had to make the choice to fire on the man.
It is a shame that he wasn’t stopped before leaving the bar so intoxicated. It all could have been avoided if people would have just stepped up to stop him.
I feel for the officers who had no choice but to stop this man the only way they could.
No matter what if you see someone so drunk heading to their car…call the police flattena tire, so what ever it takes to keep them from getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.
