Visit the Greyhound, Listen to Dog Stories, and Non-Profits at Farmers’ Market Saturday

  07/13/12This Saturday, in addition to the freshest of the fresh produce and flowers, youngsters will have an opportunity to visit with Traveler, the greyhound, and listen to dog stories beginning at 9:30, He’s very excited.

Not-for-Profit groups on hand will be Marshall County Foster Parents with information on their services. The Red Cross Youth will have a fundraising bake sale.

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the newly-named River Park Square at Garro and River, east of Michigan. Each weekend features entertainment and exhibits. The last day for the Market is Oct. 13, the second Saturday of the month.

Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, 10499 Tyler Road, Bremen, IN 46506 (574-217-5776). Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month.
