PLYMOUTH, IN – Lady Chargers beat conference foe Kellogg Community College 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 to improve their conference record to 6-6 with an overall record of 19-12.

A strong balanced attack was led by Kaylia Richardson (Indianapolis, IN) with 15 kills, Hayley Mavrick (Greentown, IN) with 11 kills, and Jess Moore (Walkerton, IN) with 10 kills.  Also coming up with some key kills at important times was right side Keri Friend (Rossville, IN) who added 6 kills on the night and also led the defense with 16 digs.  Kristen Trudell (Horton, MI) had 31 assists on the night while Kelly Duke (Vicksburg, MI) had 3 aces and added 15 digs.

Coach Singleton commented on the night’s festivities and successful fundraiser, “Chargers for Change and Ounce of Prevention PINK volleyball game was a great success.  We raised over $700.00.  We want to thank everyone from the community who came out and supported this wonderful cause.  We also want to thank all the local businesses that donated to this event.”

The Lady Chargers play next on the road at Jackson this Thursday, October 18th.
