DONALDSON, IN – The Lady Chargers bolster their season record to 10-6 and improve to a conference record of 2-2 following a win over Lansing Community College last night W 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.

Coach Singleton happily commented, “Kristen Trudell (Horton, MI) continued to do her job even while feeling ill, setting 22 assists and adding 7 digs.  Really shining for the offensive side last night was Kaylia Richardson (Indianapolis, IN) who pounded down 13 kills in 24 attempts with only 1 hitting error.”

Singleton continued on the team’s solid performance, “Jessica Moore (Walkerton, IN) and Keri Friend (Rossville, IN) combined for 7 and 6 kills respectively with only 2 errors between the two of them for a solid, well balanced hitting night for the Lady Chargers.  Kelly Duke (Vicksburg, MI) led the defense with 11 digs.”

The upcoming schedule for the Chargers has an away match set against conference opponent Kellogg Community College tomorrow night, September 20th.
