07/30/12 Republican Congressional Candidate Jackie Walorski (IN-02) Thursday announced her recent endorsement from the National Federation of Small Business PAC, the nation’s leading small-business advocacy organization.  This important recognition follows other notable endorsements from the U.S. and Indiana State Chamber of Commerce named earlier this week.

“I am proud to receive the support of the NFIB PAC for my candidacy in this race,” said Walorski.  “The NFIB is a critical voice for small business owners in the second district, and together we have successfully partnered to advocate for pro-business growth initiatives.  I will continue to promote their incentives to protect free enterprise and pass job creating legislation in Congress.”

Walorski’s endorsement comes from the Save America’s Free Enterprise (SAFE) Trust, the NFIB political action committee.  Candidates are selected based on their positions regarding key issues such as taxes, labor, health care, and regulatory reform.   During her six-year term in the Indiana State Legislature, Walorski earned an 81% lifetime NFIB voting record.

“Jackie Walorski is the proven voice for small business in this race,” said Lisa Goeas, NFIB Vice President, Political and Grassroots. “Jackie understands that lower taxes help businesses to invest, grow and create more jobs.”

According to the NFIB, there are nearly 2,000 active small business members residing in Indiana’s second district.   Many of these voters are expected to turn out to the polls on Election Day to support NFIB endorsed candidates like Walorski.
