01/11/13 Jim Grater of ACE Medical Supplies recently held a seminar about diabetic supplies at Miller’s Senior Living Community in Plymouth. Grater’s discussion included facts about Dr. Comfort shoes. His assistant Courtney Curry took various styles of shoes around to each person in attendance and also passed out literature.
Grater shared some very startling statistics during his seminar. He recently learned that 33% of seniors are diabetic; while only 16% of those are diagnosed. It is important for diabetics to wear properly fitted shoes and to have the proper equipment at their disposal for checking glucose levels, etc.
