03/11/13 The Marshall County Crop Update meeting will be held at the Marshall County Extension Office on Thursday evening, March 14th starting at 6:30 pm with registration and ending at 9:30 pm. Marshall County Extension Office is located in room 304 Marshall County Office Building, 112 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.

7:00 pm Review of 2013 Growing Season, Lessons Learned from the Drought
7:5O pm Invasive Weeds and Weed Resistance Issue , What is Palmer Amaranth?
8:20 pm Utilizing on Farm Research to Monitor return on pest control practices
9:10 pm New Fertilizer Rule, What Does this mean to you.
9:30 pm Adjourn
Robert Yoder, Purdue Extension Educator from Marshall County will lead these discussions. It will be a great evening to share knowledge and learn about crop management. The goal of this meeting is to share information learned from this past growing season and address concerns heading into 2013.
