LaPaz-North Township Fire Department Donates to Hoosier Burn Camp

March 2, 2013

03/04/12 Throughout the month of February you may have noticed some of the members of the local fire departments have grown mustaches. Each year, members of the local area fire departments raise money for the Hoosier Burn Camp by growing mustaches. All the departments come together to turn in their money and hand out some awards, like best and worst mustache.

LaPaz Fire Chief Chris Oginsky is proud to announce that the members of LaPaz-North Township Fire Department met their goal of raising $1,000 to donate to the Hoosier Burn Camp. Saturday night was the Mustache Bash and Lt. Wes Bringham presented the check to members of the LaPaz Department.

Chief Oginsky said, “Mind you that we did raise some eyebrows by donating more than Elkhart City Fire Department Local 338.”

The Chief closed by saying, “The donated amount went to a great cause the Hoosier Burn camp and could not been archived without your hard work and dedication to LaPaz-North Township Fire Department. Thank You to all those that put up with us and donated. A job well done.”
