04/30/13 The Tri Kappa Spring Student Art Show will be on exhibit this weekend, Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th at Plymouth High School. The art work will be displayed in the lobby outside the auditorium in conjunction with the PHS Variety Show. The show features artwork of students in grades kindergarten through 12th grades.
Art teachers for grades K through 8 submit the best work of the year for selection by judges from the Heartland Artists. Ribbons are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Certificates are provided for all entries.
High school students submit their own work in categories of black and white drawing, color drawing, painting, 3-D, digital design and multimedia or other. Heartland Artist judges select the top 5 entries in each of those categories and monetary awards are given to the top places.
