3 New Police Officers Sworn In

April 22, 2013

04/23/13 Monday morning Plymouth Clerk Treasurer Toni Hutchings administered the oath of office to three new city police officers.  Jeremy Enyart comes to the department by way of the Argos Police Department.  Matt Emenhiser was an officer with the Marion PD and Ben McIntire received his training while he worked for the Bourbon Police Department.

The three new officers were offered conditional employment in early January under Chief Jim Cox.  At that time Cox said the committee had applications from over a dozen individuals interested in working for the city.  Since that time they have gone through the remaining testing processes and pension board approval.

The new officers actually started to work on Monday.  All three are academy trained so they will begin the Plymouth Police Department’s field training process, working with other officers prior to taking to the road on their own.
