June 20, 2013

06/21/13 The Plymouth Blackhawks Motorcycle Club is hosting the annual Benefit Road Run for the Plymouth Fire Department this weekend.  The road run is this Sunday, June 23rd starts at the Plymouth Fire Department at 111 North Center Street with sign-in at 11 a.m. and kick-stands up at noon.

The route is estimated to be 53 miles long and will venture out into the country around Peach Road and Pretty Lake Trail concluding back at the Plymouth Fire Department. The cost for this bike run is $15 per person and the first 100 entries will receive a t-shirt.  This is not just a benefit ride it’s a day full of fun with 50/50 tickets and prizes.

The Plymouth Fire Department will be setting up a hot dog and hamburger stand where 100 % of both the food and the ride will go to the Plymouth Fire Department.

The Plymouth Blackhawks Motorcycle club holds several enduro races at the Burr Oak Race Track throughout the summer and Plymouth EMS comes out on their days off and volunteer their time to provide medical attention for the racers.  This is the Blackhawks way of giving back to the Plymouth Fire Department.
