Plymouth Police Department October Activity Report

  11/21/13 City Department heads presented their monthly reports for October during a recent Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon’s staff answered 675 calls for information, conducted 271 traffic stops, investigated 199 complaints and responded to 155 calls from the 9-1-1 dispatch center.  City Officers conducted 128 investigations in October, attended to 79 civil matters, conducted 71 security checks, responded to 46 alarms, did 34 vehicle checks, made 27 criminal arrests and responded to 26 property damage accidents.   

The city’s K9 Jax was used 25 times in October.  Officers responded to 21 juvenile complaints, issued 20 $2 parking tickets, checked 19 suspicious vehicles, made 17 traffic arrests, were dispatched to check on 12 suspicious persons, enacted the Merchant Protection Plan 12 times and investigated 10 theft reports. Plymouth officers conducted 10 welfare checks, served 7 warrants, located 7 open doors or windows assisted with 4 lockouts, responded to 3 unwanted guest complaints and responded to 2 battery complaints.
