09/24/13 Miller’s Senior Living Community ended their National Assisted Living Week celebration with their annual Classic Car Cruise-In.   Guest DJ Quentin Flagg revved the crowd up with his oldies music as the cars came pouring in to the parking lot.  Guests and residents leisurely strolled and admired the cars while games were held for young and young-alike.

Wayne Flora won the bubble gum blowing contest by blowing the largest bubble.  Emily Stiles and Sherri Bender tied for first place in the hula hoop contest.  Winning the Twist Contest was LaVanch Yarian and Venita Nowatzke.  Kathy Ambrose won the door prize which was a die cast truck donated by Spike Snider of Hoosier Old Wheels.

The Classic Car Cruise-In came to a close as Miller’s Marketing Director Anna Corbett Best of Show which was chosen by spectators voting for their favorite car/truck.  Corbett proudly presented the trophy to Jerry and Marilyn Yotter of Etna Green.  They were the crowd favorite with their yellow, 1929 Shay Model Ford – “Tweety Woadster”.
