10/14/13 On Thursday, October 10th at approximately 11:00p.m. an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation on US 30 in the area of Oak Drive. During the course of the investigation Deputy Brandon Cooper along with his K-9 partner Arras walked around the vehicle. Arras gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana and paraphernalia within the interior of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 22 year old Allen J. Nevills Jr. of Bolingbrook, Illinois was taken into custody and charged with Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person under 18 years of age, Operating a Vehicle with a Schedule 1 or 2 Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
All three subjects was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on $4,505 bonds.
