06/25/13 PLYMOUTH, IN- Officials from both Ford and Lincoln were present at the Oliver Ford Lincoln dealership today, to award the dealership with not one but TWO President’s Award for customer satisfaction. It is the 14th time the dealership has been recognized for its excellent performance by Ford and, as this is the first year Lincoln has issued the award separate from Lincoln, the first time Oliver has received the honor solely on it’s Lincoln satisfaction level.
Mike O’Brien, Detroit Regional Manager for Ford Lincoln Sales pointed out that “of the 172 Ford dealerships and the 60 Lincoln dealerships in the Detroit Region ~ and that includes Chicago ~ Oliver is the ONLY dealership to receive both the Lincoln and the Ford President’s Award. That means they’re the only one in the Midwest and one of only two percent of dealerships across the nation. That’s impressive!”
“It’s not easy to win the President’s Award. Several factors go into it, including market share and customer satisfaction scores for not only sales but parts and service as well.” said Nick Steiner, Sales Zone Manager for the Detroit Region. “It’s quite an accomplishment to have won the President’s Award 14 times, especially competing with the other HUGE dealerships. This is their first Lincoln President’s award, but I’m sure it won’t be their last.”
Damon Blakemore, Zone Manager for Parts and Service for the Detroit Region, said Parts and Service plays a big role in winning the award. “This is really important as this is the portion of the business that has even more interaction with the customer on a daily basis than the sales department does. So this gives a real sense of how satisfied they are with the service and if they’d recommend the dealership to others. It’s a real family atmosphere at the Oliver dealership, and you’re just as likely to see Jack or John talking to a customer as any member of the sales team. THAT’S the kind of difference that sets them apart”
