This weekend the Lincoln 7th VB team traveled to Rolling Prairie Dunes Operational Center. They came away Champions of the second place bracket out of 12 teams.
During pool play they beat Elkhart West Side and lost a hard fought game to North Judson Middle School. They went 3 games with Elkhart West Side 25-19 (w), 27-25 (L), 15-0 (w). Then the Lady Redstorm lost hard 2 fought battles against North Judson Middle School’s team that was packed with talent 26-24 and 25-17.
The team placed second in the pool. During bracket play, the lady Redstorm took on Valparaiso Middle School and won in 2 games. For the championship of the bracket play the lady redstorm beat Elkhart North Side in 2 games as well.
It was an overall team effort where everyone did their share to make sure we came out successful on such a long day. Great job lady Redstorm. You can catch them in action this week against Rochester and Bremen.
