08/09/13 The Indiana Invaders U12 Girls Travel Soccer Team from South Bend has been active all summer in the Regional Super Youth League and has qualified for Nationals. Plymouth’s very own Lindsey Stiles a Lincoln Junior High 7th grader participates and plays for the Indiana Invaders 2001G Black Soccer Team. The team is coached by Notre Dame Law Student Paul Kerridge. The Super Youth Nationals are held in Bradenton, Florida from December 4th through the 10th. This is the first time ever that a Northern Indiana Girls Soccer Team has advanced to Super Youth Nationals.
Coach Kerridge said, “This is a great opportunity for us to compete against some of the best soccer teams in the country as well as a chance to play at the renowned Sports Complex where the Women’s National Team trained for the Olympics.”
The Indiana Invaders U12 Girls travel soccer team is trying to raise enough money to travel to Florida to compete. Their goal is to raise $23,000.00.
