The Plymouth Tennis Team inproved to 7-1 on the season with a whitewashing of  Bremen 5-0.   Here are the results:

The Lincoln Redstorm Cross Country teams started their season last night with a victory for both Girls and Boys races.
The meet included Lincoln, Laville, Knox, and Urey schools at Laville.  With high heat and a little rain, both teams ran strong and won the overall meet.
For the boys race, Shane Pursch finished first place with a time of 11:59, Jeffrey Oliver came in third overall and second for Lincoln with a time of 12:18. Brady Hissong, Graham Calhoun, and Konnor Ray were next runners for Plymouth coming in at 12:50, 13:17, and 13:29 respectively.
The girls race went just as well with Kaitlyn Carothers leading the team and finishing first place in 12:59. Tia Freshour was second overall at 13:44; Alyssa Solis, Lexi Ramirez, and Lily Wallace ran a great race to help the team secure a victory.
The Redstorm Cross Country team races again this Saturday at the Indian Springs Invitational, starting at 9am.

 

The 7th grade football team traveled to Laporte Boston Wednesday night to take on the Bruins.  The Rockies won in dominant fashion 39-8.  They began the evening with touchdown runs of 70 yards by Blake Reed, 18 yards by Austen McMillen, and 23 yards by Reed to lead 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.  The team also managed to block two punts in the quarter.   Carson Grove and Ezra Winkle were responsible for the blocks.

In the second quarter,  Cole Filson got into the scoring column with touchdown passes for 7 yards and 21 yards.  Trenton Hite and Kelven Mercer were the receivers responsible on the plays.  The victors went into the half leading 33-0.

They continued their strong play in the second half with an interception by Devon Schoff and a 27 yard touchdown run by Tristan Sims.  The 7th grade Rockies are back in action this Saturday morning at 9AM when they take on Northwood at Lincoln Junior High.
