The PHS Boys Tennis team keeps rolling as they defeated Goshen 4-1. By winning, Plymouth moves into a 3 way tie with Concord and Warsaw going into tonight’s first round of the NLC tournament.  The first and second round will be help at Plymouth with a start time of approximately 4:00pm.

 

The PHS Boys Soccer team fell to Concord 6-2.   Plymouth falls to 3-8-2 on the season.  Here’s a look at the scoring summary.

The 7th grade Lincoln Football team faced an uphill battle last night on their away trip to Wawasee.  After spotting the Warriors 14 points in the games first three minutes, the team adjusted on both offense and defense to right the ship.  From that point forward, Lincoln scored 18 uncontested points on runs by Blake Reed and Austen McMillan to secure the lead entering the half.

The second half was a tense battle of defense until the final 1:30.  Wawasee drove 45 yards to the Lincoln 25 yard line and had a first down with :38 seconds remaining.  After a quick timeout, the Rockie defense responded with a 100 yard interception return for a touchdown by Jake Deacon.  Two quick defensive stops later, Lincoln were 24-14 winners.  The Rockies play again on Thursday night against Wawasee at the PHS field at 5:00.  The 7th graders are now 4-2 on the season.

 

The 8th grade volleyball team improved to 8 and 0 with 2 victories over Tippi Valley last night.  The scores for the first match were 25-8, 25-10.  The scores for the second match were 25-8, 25-9.
