Â 12/30/13 The Culver-Union Township Public Library is pleased to announce the return of the Adult Winter Reading Program. â€śWarm up with Readingâ€ť is the theme of the 2014 Adult Winter Reading Program. Adults of all ages are encouraged to participate in the 2014 Adult Winter Reading Program, which will run from Monday, January 6th 2014 to Friday, February 28th 2014.
Anyone interested in participating can begin signing up on or after January 6th to receive a reading log and book review forms. Participants can earn 5 points for each book or audio-book read or listened to, 5 points for each book review (at least 2 paragraphs) submitted, and 10 points for each library sponsored program or book club attended during the months of January and February. With your permission, book reviews may be published online & in print in our newsletter, The Maxinkuckee Reed.
We have 3 book clubs to choose from, and anyone is welcome to join! Grand prizes will be awarded to the top 3 point earners at the end of the program. We hope youâ€™ll join us and â€śWarm up with Readingâ€ť this winter!
Adult Winter Reading registration is open to anyone ages 18 and older, and begins on January 6, 2014.
