DONALDSON, IN – Three members of this year’s Ancilla men’s basketball team have received MCCAA all-conference honors.

Demetrius Adams collected several accolades earning 3rd team All-Conference, All-Freshman team, and All-Defensive team.  Head Coach, Aaron Butcher remarked, “Demetrius did many things for us this season. He provided scoring, rebounding, and was a force on the defensive end. The school’s single season shot blocking record going into this season was 33. Demetrius finished the season with 61, just 1 shy of the career record. Demetrius has a lot of potential and we are anxious to watch his game continue to develop!”

Jake Frazier and Rosey Green rounded out the awards with Honorable Mention All-Conference.  Coach Butcher commented on Frazier’s impact, “Jake was a force inside this year and was a tough match up for a lot of teams. Jake has all of the tools necessary to have a great career as he moves on to a four year program.”

Butcher discussed Green’s consistent play, “Rosey did a great job for us this year on both ends of the court. Rosey was our top perimeter scorer and routinely guarded the opposing teams best perimeter player. Rosey is a great competitor who we expect big things from going forward.”
