05/16/13   Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon’s released his department’s activity report for the month of April.    The police department handled 682 calls for information, while officers conducted 304 traffic stops, responded to 216 complaints were dispatched to 171 9-1-1 calls and initiated103 investigations.

Plymouth officers were sent to 50 civil matters and 47 alarms, conducted40 vehicle checks, issued 33 $2 parking tickets,  checked on 32 suspicious persons and 23 suspicious vehicles.  Plymouth Police investigated 21 property damage accidents last month, used K-9 Jax 20 times, served18 restraining orders, issued 17 traffic warnings and made 17 traffic arrests. 

In April city officers made 15 criminal arrests, investigated 11 theft reports, conducted 9 welfare checks, located 6 open doors or windows, served 4 warrants, responded to 3 batteries, 1 domestic fight and enacted the merchant protection plan once.
