03/21/13 Argos Business Professionals of America (BPA) did a fantastic job at the State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis March 10th through the 12th.
Several Argos BPA members will be advancing to Nationals in their events:
Joey Hutchinson received a 5th place for Computer Network Technology while Aubrie DeWulf took 2nd place in Desktop Publishing and Kaitlin Howard ended the competition in 6th place for Advanced Office Systems and Procedures.
The following students did really well, although they are not advancing, they had a great showing at the conference.
Aubrie DeWulf also placed 9th in Fundamental Word Processing
Libby Moyer received 5th place in Advanced Interview Skills
Jamie Ewing got a call back for Presentation Management Individual
Madi Williams placed 6th in Integrated Office Applications
Parli Team–(Libby Moyer, Henry Harrell, Sabrina Brown, Jamie Ewing, Kaitlin Howard, Ryan Moorefield and Chris Stark) placed 4th overall
Small Business Management Team–(Shelby Sanders, Madi Williams, Tyler Lyon, and Brian Snyder) Got a call back in their event.
Sean Mullaney was elected as Vice President of Chapter Activities and will join Henry Harrell (who was re-elected as district 2 president) on the State Officer Team! It’s a huge honor that a school the size of Argos is being represented at the state level with 2 officers! The Argos BPA adviser is Shari Bloom.
