07/02/13  The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety awarded the bid for the Baker and Fairbanks improvement project  during their meeting last week.

Phend and Brown from Milford had the low bid at $140,960.  The project includes a total reconstruction with a complete removal of the street curbs and sidewalks and replacement.

City Engineer Rick Gaul said Baker Street will be closed from Park Street to the Yellow River Bridge for up to three weeks.  The project will begin after the Fourth of July and is scheduled to be completed by August 112th, just before school starts.
