06/11/13  On Friday, June 7th at 9:43 A.M. the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding a battery victim being treated at Saint Joseph Medical Center.  Officer’s responded to the hospital and located the victim that had visible injuries to her neck, head and nose.  The victim told officers that 32 year old, Otis Young of Plymouth had battered her at a residence located in the 1500 block of West Harrison Street.

Information gathered indicated that Mr. Young was frequenting a residence on 19B Road west of Argos.  City officers also knew that Otis Young had an active felony arrest warrant for failing to appear for possession of methamphetamine.  This information led Plymouth Police, officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police to the location residence on 19B Road.

At approximately 2:40 p.m.  officers arrived at the 19B Road residence.  Two male subjects were observed by officers running from the house on foot into a field.  Their actions initiated Plymouth K-9 Officer John Weir to release Jax to apprehend them. 

  Thirty-two year old Otis S. Young of Plymouth quickly gave up after climbing into a tree.

  Twenty year old Danny R. Clark of Kokomo was located a short distance away in the weeds.

During the foot pursuit Officer’s located an active Meth Lab that had been thrown by the subjects. 

Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where Otis S. Young is being held on dealing in methamphetamine, strangulation, battery and resisting law enforcement charges.  His bond was set at $100,005.  Danny R. Clark is being held on resisting law enforcement charges with a bond set at $755.
