12/11/13  Marcelino “Boo” Linder Arbuckle is a 5 year old Kindergartener student at Webster Elementary School.  Recently diagnosed with Desmoid Fibromatosis which is a rare cancer that affects small children with tumors that are 100% cancer, he was sent to Riley’s Children’s Hospital for chemo and after 7 weeks of chemo therapy the doctor realized the lump was taking over his air ways and the chemo had to be stopped.

On Saturday, December 7th the “Bounce for Boo” fundraiser was held at Menominee Elementary School in Plymouth.  A bounce house donated by Plymouth Family Dentistry and Grand Rental Station was set up in the cafeteria of the school and children from the community were invited to pay $2 to “Bounce for Boo.”  Members of the PHS Rockies Football Team assisted the kids getting into and out of the bounce house.  An elementary basketball tourney at the school helped the group raise $500 for help with medical expenses.

Currently Marcelino is undergoing radiation in Bloomington and is having a very rough time.  Friends and family are asking the community to help cheer him up.  They are hoping to fill “Boo’s” mail box up this holiday season with Christmas cards and Get Well cards.  Cards may be sent to Dawn and Marcelino Arbuckle, 751 East Tamarack Trail, Bloomington Indiana, 47408.
