A fatal motorcycle accident occurred last evening (July 3, 2013) on 9B Rd between Hickory Rd and Grape Rd. Michael A Disher, 45, of Bourbon was traveling East on 9B Rd when a deer ran into the roadway. Disher unavoidably struck the deer and was pronounced dead on the scene around 10:45 pm.
Marshall County Deputy Coroners John Grolich and Lisa Richards conducted the death investigation along with Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Hollopeter. Bourbon Fire, EMS, and PD responded to the scene as well. Toxicology results are pending.
