08/15/13 On Thursday, May 30 at approximately 7:00 p.m. the Bremen Police Department received a complaint of a possible child molesting in Bremen. Investigating officer’s spoke to the victim, a 10 year old child, and the victim’s mother. The victim stated that while visiting a friend the suspect, 39 year old Angel Escobar of Bremen, touched her in an inappropriate manner which made her feel uncomfortable and then told her not to tell anyone about it.
Upon completion of the investigation a report was filed with the Marshall County Prosecutor. On Monday, August 12 the Bremen Police Department received a warrant issued for Angel Escobar. Escobar was located, arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a charge of Child Molesting and Sexual Battery. His bond was sent at $10,005 cash.
