05/16/13 Several local young women fared well in the second annual Indiana Miss Amazing pageant, held recently at Hannah and Friends neighborhood near Notre Dame.

Kasey Jones, 25, of Bremen, was crowned Indiana’s Miss Amazing in a pageant that includes young women with disabilities. Her sister, Kelli Jones, 24, was crowned “princess” (runner-up) to her sister. Kasey now has the opportunity to advance to the first-ever America’s Miss Amazing in Omaha, Nebraska in August. Kasey and Kelli Jones are the daughters of Joe Jones and Linda and James Clevenger.

Brittney Riffle, daughter of Rhonda Owens of Bremen, was 23 at the time of the March 25 pageant and competed in a younger age group. In the “Junior Miss” category, Brittney, now 24, was also crowned a princess.

Rachael Gates, who attends Marshall-Starke Development Center with Kasey and Brittney, was crowned Indiana’s Senior Miss.

Other title holders crowned were Pre-Teen Miss Diana Overman, Junior Teen Miss Mickey Deputy, and Junior Miss Bailey Ebaugh.
