12/18/13 On Monday, December 16th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a report from Paul Hundt of a Burglary that had occurred at his pole barn located in the 11,000 block of 11th Road. Mr. Hundt advised that sometime between the hours of 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15th and 7:00 a.m. Monday, December 16th unknown subjects gained entry into the pole barn. Once inside the building they removed several power tools. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
