By

11/19/13 On Friday, November 15th at 12:26 a.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a report of a burglary in progress at the Symphony Restaurant located at 1410 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.

The manager of the restaurant had surprised a burglar when he entered the restaurant at approximately 12:25 a.m.  The manager stated that the burglar had fled on foot from the scene.

Further investigation by Detective Leo Mangus indicated that the subject had entered the building through the roof and had gained access into the attic at approximately 12:15 a.m.  Video footage of the interior of the restaurant showed a male with a white cloth, possibly a t-shirt covering his face.  He was wearing a green jacket and was approximately 5’7″ to 5’9 feet tall with very short hair.  The suspect forced the office door open and had collected the money in the office.

The money was not taken because the manager had surprised the suspect and he had left quickly.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary should contact the Plymouth Police Department at 936-2126.

Someone has broken in through the roof wearing a mask and is rifling through your possessions…but there’s no threat of violence.

Good luck with your unarmed resistance. I’m sure a stern look is all you’ll ever need. Until it isn’t.

A firearm is like a parachute. You hope you’ll never need it, but if you ever do and don’t have it you’ll never need it again.

Now what meds should I intimate that you are abusing, hmmmm? Witty argument there. Oh so clever. Unless of course you’re just trying to be insulting.

He didn’t need to defend himself, Thor; the perp made a very fast exit. There was no threat of violence. Step away from the cold medicine.

    Go, Jim! You’re my hero.

    Carry permit, point, click, delete.

Defend thyself citizen. When seconds count the police are minutes away…and liberal bureaucrats will try to make your defense years away…or never…
