10/09/13  The Pilot News and WTCA have joined forces to present “The Best Scarecrow Contest” just in time for Fall and the Halloween tradition of Trick-or-Treat.

Businesses in the Plymouth Community are invited to join the fun.  All you need to do is call us and let us know you want to participate.  Then build or buy a scarecrow and place it out front of your business the week of October 20th through the 26th.

During this week the newspaper and radio station will promote your business as a participant in “The Best Scarecrow Contest.”  We will encourage readers and listeners to check out the scarecrows and vote for their top three using an entry blank in the newspaper or at the radio station.  Voters will also be able to send emails to the two local media with their top three votes. There is no cost to participate and the top three the vote winners. will receive free advertising in the Pilot and on WTCA.

We already have 47 businesses but we still have room for more businesses to participate.  Call the Pilot News or WTCA today and let us know you want to celebrate Fall by participating in “The Best Scarecrow Contest.” Deadline to enter is this Friday.
