11/22/13 Members of the Plymouth Optimist Club are helping to make the city look a little more festive for the holiday. On Wednesday afternoon a few members started placing Christmas Trees in planters on Michigan Street.
Employees of the Plymouth Park Department trimmed the decorative grassed in the planters and placed stakes in them for the Christmas Trees to be secured to.
The trees have been generously donated by Hensler’s Nursery and the Optimist Club is asking merchants with the Christmas Trees in front of their business to decorate them before the Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, November 29th.
