10/16/13 The Plymouth Street Department has begun the citywide leaf pick-up program.  For the next several weeks, weather permitting, employees with the street department will operate the leaf machine along city streets in various sections of town.

Residents are to rake their leaves to the CURB only, not in the street. The leaf machine will cover the entire city each week so if you miss the pick up this week they will be back again next week.  Leaves are only picked up at the curb, the leaf machine does not go down alleys or into manufactured housing parks.

Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt reminds citizens, “There is no leaf pick-up in the spring so it’s important to get your leaves to the curb early.”   If you have leaves for pick-up after the final week, November 13th through the 19th, they must be bagged and put at the curb for pick-up this fall or in the spring.

Any loose yard waste not in a container will not be picked-up.

If you have questions you can call the street department.  936-2017
