01/08/13 Monday evening members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety along with Police Chief Jim Cox interviewed three prospective candidates for city police officers.  During an executive session each candidate had a 20 minute interview with the board.

A special public meeting was held about 7p.m. to offer conditional employment.

Chief Cox recommended hiring all three candidates; Matthew Emenhiser who is a police officer for Marion PD, Benjamin McIntyre who is an officer in Bourbon and Jeremy Enyart who is currently working for the Argos Police Department.  Members unanimously supported the recommendation of the chief and agreed to offer conditional employment to all three.

Chief Cox said he had 12 to 13 applications submitted for the openings.

The three offers will replace Jordan Rans who went back to the Sheriff’s Department, Jason Dobbins who went to the Warsaw Police Department and Nick Young who went to Bremen.
