05/24/13  The Memorial Day Holiday will move the City of Plymouth trash pick-up schedule back one day for Tuesday’s trash pick-up and the rest of the week.

Allied Waste will be closed on Monday, May 27th so trash pick-up and recycling in Plymouth will begin on Wednesday, May 29th.

The City would like to remind customers that your trash and recycling are to placed at the curb for pick-up before 6 A.M.  The trash and recycling totes must have their lids shut or it will not be emptied.  That is because of the possibility of items falling out of the tote.   Any items placed outside of the regular trash tote will not be picked-up without a special pick-up appointment.  The recycling truck comes every week in Plymouth on the same day as the trash pick-up.

Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt urges city residents to participate in the Yard Waste pick-up days which are Mondays and Fridays weather permitting.  Yard waste should be placed neatly in containers that are too heavy so it limits the possibility of injuries.  It is suggested that you use multiple containers instead.  The crews start early and once they go through your area they do not come back.
