06/17/13 The Marshall County Commissioners will convene this (Monday) morning at 9:30 a.m. in their second floor meeting room in the County Building.  They have a lengthy agenda which includes County Clerk Julie Fox who will be discussing collections in her office. 

The commissioners will consider a contract with Ward Byers to serve as the new county’s Court Services Director and Clyde Avery will present his quarterly report and the County Safety Procedures Manual.  Also on the agenda at 10 a.m. is a Public Hearing for Ordinance 2013-05 which pertains to Emergency Funds Procurement.  A second Public Hearing is scheduled at 10:15 to update the EMA Ordinance. 

The County Health Department will discuss the Health Educator’s role and County Health Rankings while Captain Dan Butt with the Sheriff’s Department will seek approval of a prepay for fuel for the Lake Enforcement detail. 

Other agenda items include the County Highway Report by Superintendent Neal Haeck, Attorney Report by Jim Clevenger, and Auditor’s Report by Penny Lukenbill.

Under Commissioner Items is and amendment to the personnel policy as it pertains to part-time worker hours and a Requests for Proposals for the Metronet project.

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public for comments and questions.
