04/09/13 The cause of death has not been determined on the semi driver that crashed on US 6 Monday morning.
51 year old Edward E. Heward of Romney, West Virginia was pronounced dead at the scene about 10:50 Monday morning by Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger. Romney was driving a semi on US 6 when for an unknown reason the truck went off the north side of US 6 and down an embankment just west of Miami Trail in Bremen.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Traffic on US 6 was stopped for hours as emergency crews were on the scene and then the complicated process of removing the semi.
