04/30/13 On Saturday, April 27th at approximately 5:30 P.M. Deputy Matt Brown with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 20,000 block of 9B Road in reference to a burglary. Arriving at the scene he was advised by the home owner that as they returned home they located two males inside the home. When the subjects were discovered they ran out the back door and fled on foot heading north into a wooded area. The suspects removed a small amount of jewelry from the residence. A search of the area was conducted but officers were unable to locate the subjects.
On Sunday, April 28th approximately 9:30 P.M. Deputy Brown responded to State Road 110 and Olive Road in reference to a theft. Arriving at the residence he was informed that sometime between 9:30 P.M. Saturday, April 27th and 1:30 A.M. Sunday, April 28th unknown subjects removed two large round bales of hay from the residents field. This is the second theft of hay bales from the victim recently.
