08/01/13  On Wednesday, July 17th at approximately 8:23 PM Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Bryant conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Game Stop.  The driver of the Oldsmobile, 18 year old Zachery Marek of Walkerton was found to be in possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while under the influence of a scheduled I or II controlled substance.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 cash bond.  He was released the next day after posting bond.  He is scheduled to be in Superior Court II on Tuesday, August 6th.

On Friday, July 19th Deputy Bryant conducted a traffic stop in front of the Plymouth Hospital on a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 31 year old Lee Cole of Plymouth.  Cole was found to be in possession of marijuana as well as operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.   Cole was released 7 hours later after posting bond and given a Tuesday, August 6th date for his initial hearing in Superior Court II.

On Tuesday, July 23rd Deputy Bryant initiated a traffic stop on Malibu at the intersection of US 31 and 4A Road.  During the investigation a passenger in the vehicle, 19 year old Rodney Taylor of South Bend was found to be in possession of marijuana.  Taylor was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,505 bond.
