07/23/13 Sunday evening around 9:45 Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Giordano responded to a two vehicle accident on Michigan Road near 4A Road and the entrance of the Tri-Way Drive-In Theater.
Arriving on scene it was learned that a Dodge Caravan had been south bound on Michigan Road waiting for traffic to clear to turn left into the Tri-Way Drive In. The van was struck from behind by a Volvo Wagon. The impact pushed the Caravan across the northbound lane of Michigan Road where it came to rest on the east side of the roadway.
The preliminary report states that all occupants were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by the LaPaz Fire and EMS, Plymouth EMS, and Bourbon and Bremen EMS.
This accident is still under investigation and as the Sheriff’s Department releases additional information including the names of those involved in the incident WTCA will update this story.
