05/01/13 The Culver Academies Quizbowl team finished 45th out of 132 teams at the National History Bowl Championship in Washington, DC this past weekend, falling one question short of advancing to the top 32. Muriel Weathers (CGA 2015) and Adam Freymiller (CMA 2013) also competed in the individual National History Bee Championship. Muriel placed 44th out of 160 in the JV division, and Adam finished 1point short of Top 32 Playoffs at the National History Bee Varsity Championship – 34th out of 175. The Eagles improved their overall record for the season to 76-30 and are now preparing for the Quizbowl Midwest and National Championships.
